His name lives on in every film that carries Omjee.
Founded by the late Sh. Om Prakash Sahni, Omjee’s Group began in film distribution with Om Shanti Om in 2007. Punjabi distribution followed with Naughty Jatts in 2013. Under Managing Director Munish Sahni, the group grew across production, distribution and exhibition, with Omjee’s Cine World Pvt Ltd operating within the Omjee’s Group brand.

Naughty Jatts marks the company’s entry into Punjabi film distribution.
Cameras roll
Harjeeta becomes the first Omjee production and wins Best Punjabi Film at the 66th National Film Awards.
A second National Award
Rabb Da Radio 2 wins Best Punjabi Film at the 67th National Film Awards.

The historical epic Mastaney arrives, while the distribution slate carries Carry On Jatta 3.
